Going solo with little green apples

This was my very first oil painting that I didn't have any input from anybody. I feel as if I have taken a step into the unknown. I am fairly pleased with the result. The colors glow, and my composition is kind of apple-ish. The way apples tumble about on a table is one of those ready made composition things that  is a great mystery even to artists.

Tropical Heat

This was a totally unplanned, painting. I merely took a idea and without planning a thing about it created this place. It was Marghee and Joshua Craig's idea. I had this canvas that already had something on it and so the trick was to cover the old stuff and go with on with the idea. This is the result.

The Door to Somewwhere

Doors fascinate  me. Old doors rough with age can lead anywhere. To a storage area, a room in a house or ...somewhere else.

Medea was a figure in Greek Mythology. A tragic figure if not a sympathetic one. This is a very dramatic piece. The woman in the painting looks as if she is capable of anything. The method is a familiar one of using a tone of b.siena and cerulean blue.
