Painting is an act of creation. There is a sense of the world falling away and everything is possible. In painting there is no limit to what I can say and no limits to what I can accomplish

Sitting Bull
Sitting Bull the chief of the Sioux has always been one who captured my imagination and my admiration. He is and was a truly heroic figure trying to hold on to a way of life that was vanishing before his eyes. Those who actually knew him said of him he was a true gentleman, who was good humored and kind.

Going solo with little green apples
This was my very first oil painting that I didn't have any input from anybody. I feel as if I have taken a step into the unknown. I am fairly pleased with the result. The colors glow, and my composition is kind of apple-ish. The way apples tumble about on a table is one of those ready made composition things that is a great mystery even to artists.
Tropical Heat
This was a totally unplanned, painting. I merely took a idea and without planning a thing about it created this place. It was Marghee and Joshua Craig's idea. I had this canvas that already had something on it and so the trick was to cover the old stuff and go with on with the idea. This is the result.
The Door to Somewwhere
Doors fascinate me. Old doors rough with age can lead anywhere. To a storage area, a room in a house or ...somewhere else.
